We love sharing the bounty that nature provides each year. That's how we like to approach our CSA program, as sharing our veggies with our family, friends and neighbors. The First Light Farm family and the communities we serve and belong to reflect a diverse palette of tastes and diet which we like to accommodate with our CSA program by having a variety of options to choose from.
When you join a CSA program, you are supporting local, sustainable farms like ours. Your willingness to pay up front provides us with the capital we need to pay for seeds, soil supplies, and to pay our staff during the early months of work when produce isn't ready to sell. We thank you for your support!

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
We serve multiple communities with our CSA program: Seattle and especially the neighborhood of Phinney and Greenwood, and our farm neighbors in Carnation, Duvall, Fall City, North Bend, Snoqualmie, Sammamish and surrounding areas. We deliver to the Seattle area*, but we encourage everyone who can to pick up at the farm! (There's nothing like coming to a farm and breathing in the tranquility and beauty of nature.)
With our CSA program, we harvest a weekly bag of seasonal veggies that we think you'll enjoy. We do our best to keep the weekly offerings balanced so you don't feel overwhelmed by one or two crops!
This program is great for folks who want to ensure they have a relationship with a local farmer, are eating seasonal and nutrient-rich fresh foods, and want to participate in helping sustain local farming.

From one of our CSA members:
"I care about the food I prepare for my family, and knowing that my neighbors, Don and Jane Reis, infuse the vegetables I'm bringing to the table with their love, care and reverence for the earth that nurtured those vegetables is important to me. We've been the enthusiastic recipients of First Light Farm vegetables for 4 years and can't say enough about how much we enjoy them."
