What is a farm community = a space where Nature extends her boundaries to encompass all of life -- including us as humans.

At First Light Farm, we recognize the power of nature and community to foster deeper well-being (less stress, better physical and mental health) as we learn to let go and relax into the natural rhythm of a farm ecosystem -- its seasons, and yes, its inherent weather and pest challenges, and learn to trust the natural process of Life.

First Light Farm's Third Space Program is intentionally designed to invite our larger community of the Snoqualmie Valley into a space that intentionally fosters connection and healing. 

In 2026, we will launch our Third Space Program for individuals and families who are food insecure.  

We will: 
1) open up eight Mini Farms for these individuals and families,
2) offer tailored classes on how to grow healthy and culturally relevant foods,
3) hire three high schoolers as farm interns, and
4) accept SNAP payments for u-pick vegetables. 

Our goal here is to offer a farm community space that is welcoming and empowering for all.
